Amar El-Deen Custard
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  1. Cut amar el-deen into small pieces and put them in a bowl of hot water; blend until smooth.
  2. Mix cornstarch in water and then add it to the amar el-deen; mix well with a spoon. Place the mix on medium heat and stir continuously until the mixture becomes stiff.
  3. Add blossom water and rose water. Stir well and boil for a minute. Pour in glasses and store in the refrigerator.
  4. Garnish with almonds, pine nuts, and pistachios. 
INGREDIENTS

  • Amar el-deen, 250g
  • Cornstarch, 3 Tbsp
  • Rose water, 1 Tbsp
  • Blossom water, 1 Tbsp
  • Hot water, 2 cups
  • Water, ½ cup
  • Almond halves, 2 Tbsp
  • Pine nuts, 2 Tbsp
  • Pistachios, 2 Tbsp
