WHY DO WE WANT TO WATCH MADONNA FALL?
Why do we want to watch Madonna fall?

She is the queen of pop, a legend in her own right. So when she tumbled down the stairs and landed awkwardly at the 2015 Brit Awards after a dancer tried to remove the cape she was wearing… why were we all so shocked yet intrigued? First of all, it was a miracle she didn’t terribly injure herself; second of all, I think we like to be reminded that in the end we are all human,  even celebrities.

So as we wait for that buffering video to play (Lebanese folks will understand what I mean by that) we expect to see something shocking, something embarrassing. It was both. But what has turned into headline news is a simple occurrence that happens to all of us at one time or another – ok, it’s not exactly the same… for Madonna it happened in front of millions of viewers… and the rest of us usually don’t have all those half-dressed men with horns wiggling all around us. But nevertheless, we all fall down, whether it’s physically or figuratively.

The point here is, she recovered and continued singing her song Living For Love. She later wrote on Instagram: "Nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up. Thanks for your good wishes!"

What at woman! So the moral of the story is… you get knocked down, you get back up. You would think that at least one of those masculine beasts could have at least caught her though!
