Perfect Those Parfaits!

Are you struggling to get the recommended 2 to 4 servings of fruits a day? That’s normal… if relying on that boring fruit basket left out on the kitchen table! How to convert that same fruit basket into a golden opportunity for extra fiber intake and more vitamins and minerals?


Here’s the trick: give those fruits a ‘parfait’ nudge by layering them in champagne glasses and alternating with protein-rich low-fat plain yogurt! Then, all you have to do is add some nutritional boosters!


Parfait Ingredients:

The ingredients for parfait include low-fat plain yogurt in addition to other delightful additions…


  • Cheers to a fruitful party of rainbow colors! This includes fresh berries, bananas, cherries, kiwi, pomegranate jewels, peaches, dried fruits, pineapple, and mango.
  • Add a twist of crunchiness!The list includes granola, toasted nuts (like pistachios, walnuts, almonds, pecans), and toasted coconut flakes.
  • Savor sweet moments! Welcome dark chocolate, honey, maple syrup, and cocoa powder.


Plus-que-parfait Ingredients: 

For a nutritional boost, consider adding chia seeds, ground flaxseeds, and toasted quinoa.


Preparation Method:

Layer some low-fat yogurt at the bottom of a champagne glass. Top with a rainbow of fruits and aim for a little sweet moment. Repeat as many times as the champagne glass will allow so that you get layers of yogurt and fruit. Once the glass is almost full, add a twist of crunchiness just before serving. Don’t miss out on the nutritional boosters for an extra pinch of wellness!
