Located a few kilometers away from Paris near Disneyland® Paris, La Vallée Village has become a must-do luxury shopping destination for Lebanese customers, which is the fifth most represented tourist nationality in the Village this year. These visitors flock to La Vallée Village not only because they are passionate about fashion and elegance, but also for the unprecedented shopping experience it offers them.

 

LVV, in collaboration with Air France Beirut, recently held a cocktail event at Kempinski Summerland Hotel to show appreciation to all loyal Lebanese visitors who are considered to be the pioneers in shopping at LVV, France.

 

We spoke with Laurence Corteggiani, Marketing Director at La Vallée Village, to learn more.  

 

Can you give us a brief history of La Vallée Village?

 

Now in its 16th year, La Vallée Village is part of the Chic Outlet Shopping® Collection created by Value Retail. Located a few kilometers away from Paris, near Disneyland® Paris, La Vallée Village is an invitation to “live shopping differently,” in the company of major brands, and in a qualitative environment like nothing else in France.

 

At La Vallée Village, there is no need to wait for the sales or hunt down the “best deal,” as everything already includes reductions of at least 33% off the recommended retail price – and often more. The brands offer the best of previous seasons’ collections.

 

Is this brand/concept currently operating in any other countries other than France?

 

Value Retail operates 11 Villages – nine in Europe and two in China. The most recent opening was Shanghai Village in May 2016 in China, located adjacent to Shanghai Disney Resort.

A map of the Village with boutique locations and services points is tendered to each visitor. Touristic sites, hotels, and transportation options are proposed while bookings and reservations are arranged.

Has LVV actually become a tourist destination? Do you find many Lebanese are attracted to La Vallée Village? Does it include restaurants?

 

La Vallée Village is the 3rd most visited cultural and leisure site around Paris, 35 minutes from Paris and 5 minutes from Disneyland® Paris. La Vallée Village has become a must-do luxury shopping destination for Lebanese customers, the fifth most represented tourist nationality in the Village this year.

 

La Vallée Village is hosting over a 120 prestigious brands; simply make your way from house to house to explore and discover. A treasure hunt with treasure for everyone and gourmet breaks along the way, any time. Treat yourself to a drink or salad on a terrace at the restaurants and cafés throughout the Village.

 

Can we expect to see La Vallee Village in the heart of Beirut anytime soon?


The objective of our recent trip was to put our Lebanese visitors in the center of our reflection; but no plans for Beirut yet.
