It’s tough being a Prince, no? Well whether you are a part of the royal family, or just the average Joe, it seems that everyone, everywhere goes through the same thoughts and emotions when it comes to being a parent.
People went crazy all over social media just last week when the 34 year old royal Prince William, father of Prince George 3 years and 18 month old Princess Charlotte, confessed that there are “wonderful highs and lows” to being a father.
As he spoke on an English language program called “Talk Vietnam” during a short visit to the country, he said this:
"It's been quite a change for me personally. I'm very lucky in the support I have from Catherine, she's an amazing mother and a fantastic wife.”
"I've struggled at times. The alteration from being a single, independent man to going into marriage and then having children is life-changing.”
"I adore my children very much, and I've learned a lot about myself and about family just from having my own children."
Referring to his young son as “a right little rascal,” he continued to explain how he keeps him on his toes, but that he is a sweet boy.
And what about his views regarding little Charlotte? He had this to say:
"Bearing in mind I haven't had a sister, so having a daughter is a very different dynamic. So I'm learning about having a daughter, having a girl in the family."
Many thought Prince William had a lot of nerve to complain… someone who lives in a castle with servants and helpers galore. But don’t you think this just proves that as human beings, we are all the same deep down inside?
What is your opinion about this?
