Sinful Food Fantasies Below 500 Calories!

Tempt your taste buds!

Silky smoked salmon and creamy avocado on a bed of mouth watering cucumber slices. (8 pieces) (70 cal/4 pieces)



  • 8 round cucumber slices (2.5 cm thick)
  • 40g smoked salmon (thinly sliced)
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • ¼ ripe avocado (peeled, pitted, and coarsely chopped)
  • 1.5 Tbsp light sour cream
  • Pepper and chopped green onions


Method of preparation

1. Top each round cucumber slice with smoked salmon. Drizzle some lemon juice to it and season with salt and pepper.

2. Mix avocado, sour cream, some lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth.

3. Top each salmon with avocado cream and sprinkle with green onions.

Oysters pampered by garlicky red barbecue sauce - definitely not to miss. (8 pieces) (70cal/4 pieces)



  • 1 Tbsp low fat butter (25% fat)
  • 1 tsp finely minced garlic
  • 5 tsp mild chilli sauce or ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • Hot sauce
  • 8 large oysters


Method of preparation

1. Preheat grill to medium-high.

2. Melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook. Stir until soft. Remove from heat and stir in chili sauce (or ketchup), lemon juice, and hot sauce.

3. Bring oysters along with the sauce to your grill. Place them flat-side up on the grill rack. Once ready, transfer the oysters to a cutting board.

4. Use a knife to remove the top shell and discard. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of sauce onto each oyster. Return the oysters to the grill, close the lid, and grill until the sauce is bubbling - 2 to 4 minutes more. Serve with small forks.

Naughty crabs bathing in luscious sauce, completely uncensored. (2 servings) (215 cal/serving)



  • 1 large crab, cleaned and halved
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • ½ whole onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • ½ bunch leeks


Method of preparation

1. Add oil to pre-heated wok.Add ginger, onions, and garlic.

2. Stir fry. Pour in oyster sauce, vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce. Simmer.

3. Add the crab. Cover the wok and simmer until color changes.

4. Mix all ingredients, then add some hot water. Let sauce simmer again.

5. Toss in some leeks and cook for 2 minutes.
